Mr. Reynolds is going into his 5th year of teaching, and his 3rd year with the Travis Band & Guard. Originally from Plano, Texas, he graduated from Plano East Senior High School in 2015. While at Plano East he was fortunate to be principal trumpet in the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Evelio Villarreal, and lead trumpet in the Jazz Band under the direction of John Brennan.
After graduating from Plano East, Mr. Reynolds attended the University of Houston where he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Most recently, Mr. Reynolds was an assistant band director at Jersey Village High School. While at Jersey Village, the band qualified for the UIL State Marching contest, and his bands received consistent superior ratings in the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation. Most recently, Mr. Reynolds has had the opportunity to teach on the visual team at the Phantom Regiment in 2025. Outside of being a teacher, Mr. Reynolds enjoys camping, reading epic fantasy series (like the Stormlight Archive), cooking, and playing video games (RPG’s like Elden Ring, Elder Scrolls).
Alexei Wade is excited to join the team for the Travis High School band! For the past year, he has served as the assistant director at Atascocita High School. He attended Langham Creek HS in Cypress Fairbanks ISD, and is a graduate of the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in Music Education and Flute Performance. While attending UH he was a part of the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Opera Orchestras as well as the winner of the 2019 Moore’s School of Music Concerto Competition. There he studied with long-time section flute player of the Houston Ballet, Peggy Russell.
Mr. Wade is also a graduate of the prestigious San Francisco Conservatory of Music receiving a masters of music studying with Principal Flute of the San Francisco Symphony and former principal flute of the Baltimore Symphony, Timothy Day. While in attendance at the conservatory, he was able to collaborate with the conductor of the SF Ballet, SF Jazz - including Chris Potter and Brian Blade - as well as many other SF symphony/opera/ballet musicians. During his graduate studies, he remained an active educator in the greater Houston area and Bay areas. He has served as a marching band technician for various high schools, and has also been a private lesson teacher, masterclass clinician, and consultant in various districts such as Cypress Fairbanks ISD, Fort Bend ISD, Humble ISD, Katy ISD, Redwood City, and the San Francisco city schools.
We are excited to introduce our newest member of the Tiger Band & Guard staff! Please help us welcome our new percussion director, Ms. Pramono! Nadya Pramono is from Houston, Texas where she graduated from Alief Hastings High School. She then attended Stephen F. Austin State University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While at SFA, Ms. Pramono studied percussion under Dr. Brad Meyer and was a member of the Lumberjack Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Steel Band, and numerous percussion ensembles.
Most recently, Ms. Pramono worked as a Percussion Instructor at Katy Junior High School and Mayde Creek Junior High School where she taught the 6th grade beginners and worked with the 7th and 8th performing band percussion students at both campuses.
Her professional associations include the Texas Music Educators Association, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Phi Boota roota. In her free time, Ms. Pramono enjoys gaming, making beaded jewelry, and karaoke. She’s very excited to begin teaching at Travis High School and Bowie Middle School this year!
Kendrick Lockhart, born and raised in Houston, TX, began his color guard career in 2014 at North Shore High School. After his junior year he began marching DCI with the Cavaliers in 2016 through 2019, while performing with Spirit Independent during the winter seasons of 2018 and 2019.
His teaching career began in 2019 with Caney Creek as director and Kingwood Park as a technician. He later went on to design drill and choreography for many schools throughout the years including Oak Ridge, Jarrell, and Ridgepoint.
Outside of colorguard Mr. Lockhart enjoys k-pop, flipping furniture, and spending time with his dog, Mordecai.
